I admit it
I am addicted to coffee
but at this age
my choices are rather limited.
Am I sinning less
because of increased virtue
or because I don’t have
the energy to do those things
any more? Crooked halo.

I love it too and Brazilian coffee is so rich and good. As I age, my “sins” get more limited so I count coffee as my “acceptable” sin, yet do restrict it to the morning, not by any attempt at virtue, but because it keeps me awake if I don’t. hugs, pat
