What Time

What is time?
Does it slow down
speed up, stand still?
If nothing changes
does that mean there
was no time?

But everything is constantly
changing, earth rotation
planetary, even universe
cycles. Change is one
of the most consistent factors
in our world. Yet how we
resist change, bemoaning
this and that.

Time…don’t waste it or save it
yet you cannot do either
time just is
as for us…we have only this moment
what we do, think–yes, even feel
is, in the end, our decision.
