Madness Nearby

Painting watches me
eyes follow me everywhere
madness lurks nearby

I walk a thin line
in dark or light I can fall
balance is the key

Which side do I want
there comes a time I must choose
or dark makes the choice

  1. This reminds me of this Scripture in Joshua 24:15
“… Choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
