Give Me More

shopping

Give me, give me
We want more and more
price tags still on
treasures unused
still we must buy more

TV teaching children
to beg for more toys
brainwashing begins
creating discontent
and greed

Stuff and more stuff
yet in the end
none of it goes
to the grave.
When will we learn
that what we need
can not be held
in the hand?
