All Around Us

I love how tiny flowers magically
melt into wee balls of future fruit,
how leggy caterpillars zip up into
little sleeping bags to transform
into winged fantasies, how black
dots with tails sprout legs, leave
the pond, and hop away.

All around us, we see the awesome
hand of our Creator transform life
from one form to another, yet we
consistently resist change. Surely
if an awkward caterpillar can morph
into a stunning butterfly, we, with our
complex bodies and minds, can transform
into Beings of Light and Love.

We may have to wait a bit to sprout
wings and a halo, but living a life
of serenity, love, and creativity is
an interesting stage as well.

:))) I havent been on wordpress for a while, I had forgotten how wonderfull and good your poems make me feel. Your discriptions were so beautiful, made me view/imagine everything clearly. Thank you for sharing your awesome writing.

  2. I’ve nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Although this is relatively new for me, I love blogging and reading the blogs of others and the sharing of what are sometimes very personal thoughts. The type of communication that’s experienced in the blogosphere, and between so many people, makes me feel how truly connected we all are on a higher level. I also know that when someone begins blogging, it’s not to win awards but to share with others. And sometimes it’s therapy for our self. That being said, I find your blog interesting and inspiring and I want to thank you for your contribution. If you choose to accept the award, you’ll find the “instructions” linked here:

Love and Light, Rev. Dani Lynn
