Three Minutes of Reality

Give me three minutes of reality
in this world of upside-down illusion.
How can one bear the lies,
a life of trumped-up stories
masked as values, religion, beliefs,
all the while no truth to be found.

Give me three minutes of reality
or does this even exist,
such a stranger to us all?

What is reality?
truth?
just one more story
invented to serve
the greed of a world
gone mad.
