Can we be a friend
who listens without judgement,
offers understanding when we
do not understand ourselves, a
friend who does not try to solve
the problem, but rather allows
the other to grow through their experience?
Can we be a friend to one who
is being unlovable at the
moment? Can we sit quietly
with another in an hour of grief?
Can we love enough to just
allow whatever is unfolding
to manifest as it is intended?

So beautiful once again Pat. Yes, unfortunately you don’t get many of those kind any more. 🙂 Nowadays people want to see how many “friends” they can get and don’t understand the meaning of “being a friend” because that is what’s important. To be a friend. 🙂

Good morning! You are up early. Yes, being a good friend is a real art. It is easy to take our friendships for granted, something we should not do for they are treasures. Hugs, pat

Good morning Pat. Oh, I think it’s just early there by you. Here it’s already 11:30 am, I’m finished with cleaning the house etc. etc. and I have no idea why my timestamp doesn’t show my time but maybe it’s because my comment is on your blog. It would be nice to see each others’ timelines all over the world. I find all the time difference so interesting. 🙂
Anyways, yes…unfortunately people do that Pat and well, it’s sad but you get over it. I believe the best we can do is be our own best friend. 🙂
Have a stunning day hon.
*hugs*
