Stop!

Click of a camera
Sneeze that stops all in an instant
I want to halt the world for a moment
Take a deep breath and start again

Life moves too fast sometimes,
my little legs can not keep up
until finally I learn to measure my pace,
take one step at a time. I slow my life
down until the blur comes into focus and
I am peacefully walking, feeling the sun
on my face, the breeze in my hair; a
sigh of contentment falls from my lips.
