Cheer-up, they say
what does that mean
pretend the world
is not collapsing
in rubble of plastic
wars without end?
Cheer-up, man
one more party
before we go.
The children are hungry
babies and puppies
die in cities gassed
fields of flowers
bees, and butterflies
no longer exist.
Tears flow for what
might have been.
Cheer-up, my friends
it’s not too late
to change
how this story ends.
Yes, there is time… but only if we wake up to the needs and become proactive! Thank you for being concerned and raising awareness with your blog.

It’s not over until it’s over. I find solace in that. I find hope in that. It is only too late when one gives up. You think?
