The Rose

I’m a rose, I’m a rose

Funny, I don’t feel like a rose

But my father says, “Be a rose, make me proud.”

I’m a rose, I’m a rose.

But I am sad and do not feel

like a rose.

When I tell my mother, she says,

“My son, the world is hard;

you live among roses. Be a rose.”

I’m a rose, I’m a rose

I’m a lost, sad rose

Growing white petals

and a sunny yellow center

whispering, “He loves me, he loves me not.”

  1. This one is suuuuuuper! Great message. Live up to God’s expectation of you, not anyone else’s… Be yourself! Who the Creator created you to be! ❤ it! This analogy works well…
