Death at My Door

Death knocked at my door today
and asked if I was ready to go. I asked
for some time to consider this important
question. Are there things I need, want,
or should do? If I leave on a moments notice,
will I have regrets, be afraid, resist and try to hide?

Death is an inevitable caller and
need not be an enemy battering your door.
A life well lived is the secret, for
at some point we all must go. Think
carefully how you want your life
to be, then build it moment by moment.
Fill it with all of your dreams
so that when you leave, your light
remains to help those who stay.

    • You asked in one of your comments how I got pictures to change. I used WP slideshow feature. You can find directions on how to use this in their help section. Essentially you import two or more pictures, save to galley, select Save All Changes and then select slideshow. hugs, pat
