Spider Lessons

I’m clearing my house
of spiders, each death
makes me feel guilty.
I do not know how to
reconcile my need to
live without their
bites and my wish to
live in harmony with all.

Living in a jungle–a game
preserve as well, has
opened my consciousness
to all life–a blessing
full of lessons I’ve not
yet learned.

I have been away from your blog for too long. I greatly enjoy your poetry and images. Thank you for sharing them. They make me feel good. I am glad to share such values with you.

Nice to see you here again. I also seldom get to read other people’s blogs as my own takes so long. But it is good to reconnect with those I especially like and to occasionally explore new ones. The world’s greatest library at our fingertips! hugs, pat

I get that feeling too when I take out a spider web. 🙂
