Learning the Power of Prayer


I am learning the power of prayer
it is so much more
than I realized
more than words
petitions, praise
confession, pleas

Prayer opens my soul
to receive the Spirit of the Lord
melting the hardness of my heart
washing away my
fears and tears

Prayer lifts me up
with those for whom I pray
forever surrounded
by the Light of the Lord

  2. Prayer lifts me, too. I pray for you to have a Marvelous Monday. BTW, I love that photo of those we’ll-worn, over -worked hands. I know God hears those petitions.
