Connections

Globalization…big word,
What does it mean?
Bowl of rice
connects me to the world.
Bowl made in China,
fragrant rice from the Himalayans…
footstools of God.

Tractors, trucks, airplanes
warehouses, grocery stores
connect each grain of rice
to my body.
Rain on crops
I swallow and transform
to Love energy,
which I send out,
connecting me with you,
who now is connected to
a bowl of rice.

These connections are everywhere;
grids of energy merge us
into a pulsing life
that reaches to unseen universes.

Grain of rice,
beam of silver moonlight,
laughter of delight
on the other side of the rainbow,
and my tears of joy
are One.
Our Creator connects us all!

dear and divine….. river of wisdom flows in your poems….
the cosmos is made of atoms… so is each grain of rice…. so is air….now the communication with them can happen by accepting breath and rice as grace of God… this is the reason food is offered to God before starting the meal in many traditions….
by breathing the same air ….we all are one inside and different units outside…. dance of atoms…and the movement of electrons, protons and neutrons and the existence of atoms happens because of that cosmic energy we may name God…. so every act of life can be a prayers and communications with cosmic energy…… and your poem is also like that….
    love all…
