Silence of God

I go within to the place of
silence. It is here that I
meet with my Creator. I
leave outside what belongs
outside and open to to receive
the gift of knowing. I need not
wait to go to the Kingdom; its
portal is within my heart. Death
offers nothing I do not already have,
waiting for me, waiting in the
silence of knowing.

The Internet is my main source although some of them are mine. Every time I think I have come up with an original idea for a poem, I do a search for a picture with that theme. And I find lots of photos, books, movie titles, etc. with my theme. Not too much original about the foibles of mankind, I suppose. hugs, pat
