Well of Stupidity

There exists a well of collective
stupidity. I shake my head in disbelief
as so many line up
to drink its bountiful waters.

Yet, I know I’ve filled
my cup there on occasion
for its water tastes sweet
until it is too late to escape
the bitterness of its aftertaste.

Lol, we’ve all been there, done that. The stupid gene is apart of us, no doubt for the purpose of enhancing our sense of humour, empathy, compassion and understanding. This stupid gene helps us to evolve consciously… so have sympathy for us poor devils. 🙂

Sometimes I need more than sympathy…more like compassion. 🙂 Good to laugh at the whole nonsense, though. hugs, pat

No worries dear, I get you completely! You need nothing, already are compassion – be compassion. Who is this illusory “self” anyway? Pretty darn good joke, hugs all around♥
