spirituality
really?
something we “get”
want, need, awaken to
are born with
make-up to justify
a life filled with
things we do not
understand?

i’ve had a good life
full of ups and downs
overall more good times
yet there is something
that calls me
to look beyond…
not discontent
or sadness
rather something
in my nature which
i need to be complete
as if i had left
a part of my heart
somewhere
waiting
for
me
to return
