In the Garden

I walk in the garden alone,
morning dew kisses on each flower,
snail trails etch leaves with swirls,
spider webs shimmer diamond droplets.
There is a peace that floats on the
morning air, starting each day with
hopeful anticipation.

I am alone, but yet, I am not
for I feel Your presence all
around me. I love that You are
as close as my every heartbeat,
closer, even, than my breath.
There is no division between
where You stop and where I begin.
I am of You, oh, Creator of my
inner most Divine Being. Therefore,
truly I am never alone. Amen.
