Precious Disaster

pat's discovery

Cast into a dependant role
tossing away our need to be busy
how often is a catastrophic event
a blessing in our lives.

We are forced to absolutely stop
to give time for our soul
an opportunity to evaluate
how we are living our life.

Be grateful for this time
consider the gifts it offers
for all too soon we are gone
often with too little thought
to what is really important
in our lives.

I love this poem. Every little thing counts. Our thoughts have to be well mannered, kind, and caring. 🙂
