Tolerant Dignity

I rest in tolerant dignity
undiminished by criticism,
by people who seem to begrudge
my very existence, who try to
belittle me in order to feel
grander themselves.

I am reluctant to go amongst
them, choosing carefully with
whom I spend time. Yet, I also
refuse to be shut away, robbed
of even the smallest joy of life.

In every way I continue my life,
though all I do is a form of
waiting. It is only when I am
immersed in the Force that I am
complete; all else if foreplay;
all else is rehearsal for
the true being.
