I do not like surprises
please don’t make me guess
tell me upfront
if you think I need to know

S urprise me not!
U nless you tell me straight, I don’t want to know.
R eally, I mean what I say.
P lease don’t hide and jump out at me.
R ejoice not in your surprise “Happy Birthday!”
I spent hours thinking no one remembered.
S urprise parties annoy me.
E ven if you are having fun, I am not.

  1. I had one true surprise party and when I saw everyone who I thought was elsewhere I wondered if I was having a stroke because nothing was right in time and space so yes tell me before the surprise surprises.
