Days of Solitude

days of solitude
filled with precious moments
time for drawing favored flowers
quiet walks in the floresta
house cleaning,  music turned high
languid naps in the hammock
tasty meals prepared with care
ordinary events made golden
by an inner knowing that life
is so very precious and should
be savored with sweet gratitude
