No Name

Every now and then
I see a part of You
never seen
I try to talk but
I cannot tell You
how I feel

You are a diamond
of many facets
each more splendorous
than the last
each a brilliance of its own

I mumble insufficient praise
for I am in awe
with what You reveal to me
You have no name
for any name would
not be enough

You were referring to our Creator, I imagine. But, I thought of my husband as I read, “You are a diamond of many facets..” This Monday we celebrate our 57th year. I am so blessed to find that … every now and then I see a part of him that I’ve never seen before. Yes, Love is a many splendid thing… and Christ’s love is the ultimate! His name IS enough!
