Choose Words Carefully

Why do we call a peach
seed a “pit”, a gaggle of
geese, a school of fish?
How interesting is language
but one must use words
with care for they have
the power to hurt or heal.
It is usually best to remain
silent, observing and allowing
circumstances to evolve. Words
spoken can never be retracted and
have their effect for a very long time.
