On Days When I’m Sad

Today I am sad
I turn to our Father
who transforms me
giving comfort beyond
what I thought possible.

I took the first step
I asked
with intention
to change
opened my heart
and gratefully

Prayers and positive energy coming your way. *hugs* Thank you for the beautiful words. I’ve been mulling over the word “change” for the last few days. There are so many meanings and definitions of that one word. Lots to think about.

I once spent a year pondering the word “Surrender.” It also has many layers of meaning. Thank you for the prayers and positive energy. It is always wonderful to receive them. hugs, pat

  2. Sendings hugs and love to you for those sad days. Is there anything I can do to help?

I was sure someone would think this is auto-biographical, but Chris, it is not…at least today. We all have sad days so the poem is for everyone. Fortunately, the sad days are very rare for me and I am old enough to know how to pass through them with a bit of wisdom. Hope your days are as joyful as mine. Big hug, pat

  3. This is beautiful and so true!
