A Tiny Spoon

Empty the oceans with a tiny spoon,
count the stars, one by one,
watch a rose unfold minute by minute.
Life is lived in countless moments,
each one melding seamlessly into the
next, each a world of its own.

Today’s dramas are tomorrow’s
forgotten memories…let them go,
detach and watch the play unfold.
Duality sets the stage for the
lessons to appear–cues given
on the sideline. Who is right and
who is wrong, ultimately is unimportant.
It is what each learns that counts.

Thank you Thursday Poets Rally for the Perfect Poem Award.
