Thy Will

“…Thy will be done…”
What does it mean
to do God’s will
rather than our own?

Does it mean we can
never do anything we
want to do? No,
rather we must learn
to align our desires
with God’s will
to give cheerful obedience
surrender with joy
to have such love
in our hearts that
we act with honor
toward God and
all He created.
Only then can
we truthfully pray:

“Thy will be done!”
