Priority

Pushing past problems
preparing peaceful pledges
perhaps putting promises
as a priority

Do we believe
what we were taught
or are seeds of doubt
sprouting in the soul
of an uncaring world?

It seems that beliefs
are based too often
on other peoples’
ideas
instead of each
of us searching within
for our own revelation
of our inner guidance.
