Snores

snoring1

S nores, night time songs
N ose noise rattling windows
O ne wish—SILENCE
R elief comes with sunrise
E very snore is precious when he is no more

I miss my father
though he’s been gone
so many years.
He was a simple man
yet complicated
a man of the land.

I remember his generosity
and so much more
but most of all
I recall
his night-splitting snore.
