Sounds

Sounds
bird trills, rain on rooftops
taxi horns, garbage trucks
children’s laughter
weaving a tapestry of life
perceived through sounds
we often take for granted.
How different our lives
would be without sound.

Today, I am grateful
for this beautiful world
pleasing both
to the eye and ear.

Yours was a very pleasant escape on what here in NC is a very cold day.
    Thanks Pat. Hugs, Barbara
