Why Worry?

Tarot cards, pendulums
reading palms and tea leaves
tell me my future
but only if it’s good
troubles come soon enough
I don’t need to worry
before they arrive

Yet, we do worry
about what’s to come.

W e spoil today with tomorrow’s “what ifs.”
O ur fears rob us of serenity.
R ight now is all we have or need.
R elease your fears of what may come.
Y esterday’s woes are best left behind.
