All Days Are Holidays

Why do we mark our calendars
full of holidays? Can we
celebrate every day?

What does it say about a culture
that values one day over another
holidays and weekends being preferred?

The interesting thing about retirement
is that every day is a holiday
or treasured weekend.
How did work become
that which makes us
feel enslaved?
