I consider a frog
one of the great
miracles of life
egg, tadpole, frog
transformation
of wonder
delights me
fills me with awe
of such clever design

All around us life cycles
in glorious display
of ingenuity
yet we take it all for granted
whine, complain, do not see
what is right before us
a seed to a mighty tree.
