Love the metaphor. I tend to be quite gabby (when I am not being silent) but know less is more powerful in writing. I look at earlier poems and see how I am learning to be more concise, though some poems are long. Thanks for the comment. It made me smile. hugs, pat
Pat, you are like a bonsai artist who trims all the unnecessary branches. You trim a lot verbiage in your writings to come up with gems of truth.
