I am learning to be lazy
No more goals, lists, appointments
Nine to five, weekends–gone
Just a flow of treasured moments
For a Type A personality whose life was lived in the fast lane, learning to relax, erase the to-do’s and just flow with the treasured moments is a real art form. You don’t make it sound easy, but you make it sound do-able! And COVID-19 took away many of the to-do’s – putting such “lazy endeavors” within reach.

I love not living in the fast lane anymore, well mostly (ok, I often have to retire from my retirement, but am working on it). We gotta’ keep trying Jan, because when we can, it is so good! π hugs, pat

Though I may not agree with the “observe”, it is a good definition of lazy π
Personally, I think lazy people will not bother to observe

Why not create a new version of “lazy?” We have such a feeling of shame when people call us lazy. Old programs can be replaced with those of our choosing. hugs, pat

You almost make laziness sound noble.

It is noble! Why do we buy into the idea that work is noble and enjoying the tiny beautiful moments of life is “wasting time.” Nobody ever got ready to die and said, “Gee, I wish I had worked more!” lol, Try being lazy. It is wonderful. hugs, pat

You’re preaching to the choir, Pat.
In fact, you’re preaching to the guy in the choir who is dozing off, he’s so lazy.
