The Champion

Olympics Day 10 - Artistic Gymnastics

Life will always present us
with problems and temptations.
It is easy to get sucked back
into old, destructive patterns.
Daily discipline of our values
keeps us on the path of light.
When we stumble and fall…and
we will…we muster our courage
to brush ourselves off, and start
again, secure in our intention
to live our lives as a champion.

It is a struggle to move forward sometimes without the knowledge of an outside power reinforcing our inner strength to not just survive, but achieve.

I think an even lower magnitude of it’s difficult to
to continue to try in the face of continued failure
      or no measurable impact

at some point, you have to face reality and
      start where you stand
with the resources you have at hand

someone has to sit on the curb when the parade goes by
      after all

We are champions, not when we excel above others, but rather when we succeed with our own dreams. It is easy to get discouraged and afraid, but a true champion calls upon his or her inner strength and guidance to continue to do his personal best. hugs, pat

Source is always with us, Tim. We are part of Source. It is just that we lose sight of that sometimes. But, you are right that this life is not easy. It helps me to remember that it all is just a big school to help me learn. Some lessons are pretty tough but inevitably they are the ones which teach the most. Hugs, pat
