Alone, so alone that not
even a blade of grass
comforts me.
There are no birds singing
no warm sun or starry nights.
There is only silence, stillness,
an infinite existence.
Everything has fallen away
leaving this beingness
I call “me.”
Alone, so alone that not
even a blade of grass
comforts me.
There are no birds singing
no warm sun or starry nights.
There is only silence, stillness,
an infinite existence.
Everything has fallen away
leaving this beingness
I call “me.”
Wonderful pull to the solitude moments, alone, yet ever aware of all that is around and within us. Nice!

Pat, this reminds me a bit of John of the Cross’ Dark Night of the Soul–and that’s what I wrote about! Hmmm.

Once we learn that these are moments of great learning for us and that “this too shall pass,” one can move through them with certain inner stability and optimism. I just keep asking, “what can I learn here?” and “please give me strength and courage. Please turn my fear to faith.” hugs, pat

Having been partner to the same man for over 34 years, I used to succumb to panic and fear around the notion of being truly alone. But many experiences later, I know what you know… we are always, ultimately singular and alone. I now find peace and power and pride in that fact.

This is definitely me..
I don’t feel lonely most of the times but definitely am alone- that’s my present state of being. However, I love being completely independent now..
I am so self contained that anything out of being on my own proves to be a distraction. Very recently, I have learnt to welcome some laughter.. Oh, and I smile like a fool!!
Love xx

So sad … I guess being alone is a big fear hard to defeat and get rid off. I hope this is all fiction and you don’t feel alone!

Actually, it is real but old history. Now I live alone on the edge of the floresta. I have to be dragged kicking and screaming away from my Space of Love filled with only the sounds of nature and my heart beating peacefully.
The poem came from a dream I had years ago where I was crawling through the desert of sand dunes. I was naked, alone and there was absolutely nothing with life there except me. It seemed scary at first but as I pondered the dream, I realized that the message was so beautiful. When all is said and done, we must make this journey alone, helped at times, but always alone. How strong this made me!
Thanks for sharing this poem with me. I expect it is a moment we all must have. hugs, pat

dear and divine….. there is a saying…. those who know do not tell and those who tell does not know……
Our body is like a car , we all are driver of car . Creator is sitting with us inside , to keep car clean we travel comfortably between life and death of body, to keep drive clean creator comes closer.
Life is a rare opportunity for driver to come closer to creator to become creator.
car music is within the car only.
Distance has no meaning , meaning is how we cover it.
when our outer world is beautiful we are model , when our inner world is beautiful we are total.
so when we drive a car ….. we gear the car to move but driver need not to gear should remain in neutral …….as I am writing …..geared my faculties but inside is absolute silence…… silence and non action is nature of soul and soul is nature of God ……. the witness to writing…….love is neutral like water….nature of God….the reason ….Jesus Christ tell……Love is God….so add L = love to alone it will become all one…. the cosmic family ….then grass also is you…..
then I am the I am….. cosmic consciousness of cosmos…..
love all…
