I like this thought Pat, and I would take it beyond compassion and loneliness. Righteousness can de-humanize the other…. and leads to violence and destruction …. all the the name of the being “right”.

But being right can be lonely when I keep quiet and let the wrong to continue. The best solution is to be right with compassion.
