There is a cricket
chirping in my house,
how charming.
The Chinese say it
brings me good luck.
There is a crick
chirping in my house
night and day. It is
driving me crazy. I
can’t find it and it
chirps away with its
hated sound.
The cricket is just
being a cricket, doing
what crickets do. What
I do in reaction to it
teaches me whatever
I am willing to learn.

What a grand analogy! Definitely will remember that next time a chirping cricket chirps until the wee hours of the morning!
Well-said! Thank you for your insights.
