About Not Fitting In

I don’t fit in, never did,
Praise the Lord! I can say
that now, but it has caused
me much pain. I was not
“popular” in high school,
did not get rushed for a
sorority at the university,
found corporate politics
unfathomable, and could not
believe what religion taught.
I knew the racism I lived in
was wrong, even though it was
an accepted way of life when
I was young.

What is it about me that
keeps me from joining
mainstream? Why do others
sense this and feel afraid?

My friend says she does’t
believe in God, not because
she does not believe He
exists, but because deep
within, she knows He does
and is terrified of the implications.

I fill my life with silence,
seek connection with the Divine,
explore other dimensions, talk
with animals, listen to the
wisdom of trees. I walk on the
edge. There are others who
do, too. One by one, Source
is connecting us, forming a
grid of Light across the globe.

Some are not ready…many are
not, but there are also many
who are. The awakening is building
momentum. You can choose to stay
as you are, or step off the cliff
with faith that you can fly. Do
you have the courage to do this?

I never fit in either. So I can proudly say I can relate to this blog.

    Hugs!
