God’s Plan
Is it true that all is as it should be? That everything is working according to God’s plan? We hear this all the time and if it is, I have some serious questions about this plan.
Hitting the Bottom
Sometimes we have to lose everything and hit the bottom of despair before we can wake up to the destructive patterns in our life. How dark is that hole filled with the slime of our fears and hatreds. Like a … Continue reading

I would not take ten for you. You are a treasure in my life. Loyal, loving friends are rare jewels. Most are rhinestones and fool’s gold. I would not take ten for you.
Only Me

Joy in the Kitchen
I had guests this weekend and, at one point, I was stuck by the joy in the kitchen. A group of us were preparing the mountains of food we ate, and were laughing and sharing stories from our lives. Sometimes … Continue reading

Degrees of Trust
At times we draw people into our lives who can mirror what we need to learn. I recently discovered that someone I thought was trustworthy had been lying to me for years. This has happened repeatedly in my life, finally … Continue reading

On a Dime
Stopped on a dime. I stand incredulous. Once again caught unaware. It never occurred to me. Is it naivety, stupidity, or wishful thinking that keeps me surprised at the trickery of humanity.
Get Involved
Don’t get involved. Get involved. The thin line is not so clear. Think I will check my motives.
“Why, Mommy?”
“Why do I have to brush my teeth?” “Because I said so,” my mother replied. Years later I understand that sometimes it is better to just get it done…just do it! Mothers can be very wise.

Symbols
Thinking in symbols, messages abound, a bird lands at my feel, what does it mean? This happens three times in three days. What does it mean? Do we get messages from the Universe or from our intuition? Or are these … Continue reading

Christmas: Day of death for turkeys Overspending’s the name of the game Vacations: Unrestrained gluttony and lust Buying trinkets we don’t need How is it that we create special days of excess? Why not celebrate life every day?
